Well-considered problems serve as the basis for smart, effective solutions. We've been at this long enough to have a an earned sense of the relative strengths of various media. We make a point of  following Edward Tufte's idea that“Design isn’t crafting a beautiful textured button with breathtaking animation. It’s figuring out if there’s a way to get rid of the button altogether.”
